Hues of Blue

Hey everyone!! We are so excited to share these looks with you guys! They are super basic pieces that we love to mix and match. These are staples for us and looks we can wear practically daily, simple looks that make a statement. You will see in our upcoming posts, we are and have always loved integrating light colours for our new year “pre-spring” vibes. The holiday season outfits and pieces tend to be super dark so in the new year and winter we love looking fresh, bright, and airy. We always tend to gravitate to those colours this time of year especially. We are living for greys, blues, and light denim right now. People are sometimes reluctant to wear light denim throughout the winter months but adds such dimension and a brighter appeal to the look. Layering all baggy looks are really in right now and make you look on trend with staple pieces are already own. Clothes that fit that way give off a cool vibe without even trying – almost like a girly take on a 90s grungy vibe. This sweater is so comfortable and versatile. The detailing on the turtleneck is so cute – we love how uniform it looks with the matching trim around the wrists and waist. It’s such an easy laid-back vibe. Its semi cropped which is a nice detail that can be transitioned among seasons. This also doubles as a very preppy sweater and looked super cute with your hair up or pulled back in a braid (just a little side note lol). Paired with our beloved grey jacket to just tie everything together. This scarf and hat set is EVERYTHING! We are suckers for texture so anything in this texture our minds just go – “I want it, I got it” lol but in all seriousness, we aren’t joking and also that song has been on repeat for us!! Periwinkle blue has remained a constant in stores for a few seasons now. It’s such a fresh bright colour that can be worn so many different ways and so many different times throughout the year. This scarf can be worn during the winter but also on a cooler spring day – mainly for the aesthetic rather than the warmth. This set is the focal point of the look so pairing it with a light grey jacket and a basic t just proves it can make anything look cute!
