Tone-on-Tone

Hey everyone! We are excited to share these outfits with you guys! With the weather we love layering, it’s so important when you’re trying to look cute/springy yet still stay warm. As you can see from our photos, there is still a lot of snow on the ground… but its March so we refused to not wear flats lol. If you’re new here, then you might not know our addiction with all tonal looks and neutrals – a match made in heaven for us. These are our go to looks for us on a typical school day or running errands, you look cute and put together but it’s still a super simple effortless vibe. Anything texture for us is a big YES, so naturally suede leggings are a favourite piece in the wardrobe. You look cute and comfy simultaneously, the matching hat just ties the whole look together and helps dress it down a bit. For us we love the look of ballcaps so much but it’s such a commitment for us to keep them on all day. (Not sure if its only us? but just the feeling with our hair and makeup… not the biggest fans lol). Pairing it with a slightly lighter toned turtleneck and longer camel jacket just completes the look. Another way to switch up this vibe is swapping the knit for a hoodie and loafers for running shoes. We deemed it acceptable to wear denim jacket’s now – with the help of knits under it lol. This oversized denim will become a staple in the upcoming weeks and months. We love the look of it with white denim. Staying on the neutral theme pairing it with a darker cream cardigan, a brown sleeveless sweater and a camel scarf are the perfect additions to these staples. Adding a scarf ties the whole look together and also becomes the coloured focal point. Again, loafer season is back, and these are our go to shoes for literally any look – we might need to invest in a few more colours! Scroll down for outfit details and pics!
