Shower Season

Hey everyone!! We hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as we did! We loved watching the royal wedding, its always so much fun to see what everyone’s wearing – most importantly what Meghan Markle was wearing…were we the only ones to think her dress was a little plain?! But either way she still looked beautiful. This past Sunday we went to a high tea themed baby shower – perfect timing for the royal wedding lol! It was so much fun seeing friends and family we haven’t seen in a little while and catching up with everyone. Everyone looked so beautiful and really stuck with the theme! We want to share the looks we wore, they’re perfect for any type of shower or event during the summer time. Even though bridal and baby showers happen all year round, the summer months seem to be the most popular. It’s hard to figure out what to wear or what’s appropriate for the theme/vibe. Wrap dresses are SO in right now – and we are living for them. The fuchsia short one is an actual wrap dresses, meanwhile the floral maxi is actually a regular dress that appears to give the vibe of a wrap dress with the ruffle detailing. As soon as the suns out we gravitate to nice bright colours. The pop of yellow really stood out in comparison to the super dainty and girly colours of the dress. Something we love about these dresses are the semi “plunging” or lower necklines and slits; it makes for the dress to appear super girly and proper – yet still fun and young. Making it appropriate for any setting. The fascinator was just a fun touch, to dress up and pretend we were royals for the day. These nude strappy heels from Aldo are literally a must have in everyone’s closet and perfect for literally any outfit or occasion. Not to mention they are also super comfy and can be worn for hours with no pain – which is always a bonus.
