Gloomy Days

Hey everyone! Even though we’ve uploaded outfit posts for you guys, it feels like it’s been a minute since we’ve last come on here and wrote to you guys! First off – it’s been raining for two weeks straight and gets dark at like 4:30 pm now?! So, we weren’t lying when we said we live in those “midterm szn” looks!!! Also, we’re not sure if we’ve ever mentioned in on the blog before, but we’re currently in week 9 – which is for some reason always our most hectic/busy week in the semester. We’re right in the thick of things and almost on the home stretch (yay!). Christmas is also in full swing, we can’t seem to take off our festive pjs and you already know we have our reusable red Starbucks cups. We also have tons of festive posts planed and ideas for you guys, but if you have a request please let us know – we’d love to do it for you guys! Now back on track to our looks lol. These are super cute but muted looks when you want to be on trend but not in your face about it. As we’re slowly transitioning into winter – the trend of plaid is here to stay. These are simple ways to incorporate it into your wardrobe. These plaid pants are actually leggings and super comfortable, they are a staple Zara brought back from last season! Using that as the focal point allows you to go very minimalistic when completing the rest of the look. A thin jersey grey turtleneck with a black teddy bear coat and some booties – your look is put together with little to no thought! When using the focal point of the look as the jacket, sticking to solid pieces underneath is very chic looking. Dark denim is the perfect base, adding a black turtleneck, conductor hat, and booties, the look is complete. Scroll down for outfit links and pics.
