Summer Fa-Sun

Hey everyone! We are so excited to share these go to looks, sporting our classic summer “fa-sun” staples! See what we did there?! We’re a sucker for puns lol! These looks we wore on one of our Sunday fun days – we went to a yacht party and literally had the best time! If you know us personally then you know we have an obsession with boats…particularly yachts, so any time there’s an opportunity to go on a yacht party we are there! The first look is a complete go to – denim shorts and a white top. These short have become extremely popular this season. They’re a little on the pricier side for denim shorts however SO worth the hype! The quality of denim is so comfortable, flattering around the thighs and are the perfect length in both the waist and leg! Overall, they check off every box you’d typically have when shopping for a good pair of denim shorts. This top is an elevated version of your basic blouse. The off the shoulder detailing and layered ruffles add that extra little touch. Looking like you tried to put a touch more effort into your look. Adding a belt just ties the look together and dressing it up a bit. The next look is centered around these linen shorts with button detailing. So nautical and perfect for boat party. Textures are huge during the summer – especially light fabrics and mixing and matching. Tying into the colors of the buttons similar to what we do in the cooler months with layering we do the exact same thing just with summer pieces. This rusty brown body suit pulls the darker tones of the button detailing and throwing on a trusty kimono pulls everything together. We’re not sure if we’re the only ones but sometimes we hate being so exposed like having a little something to cover our backs – especially depending on what we’re wearing. This airy breathable kimono is a go to staple in the summer, its nude colour virtually goes with everything in your wardrobe! As for shoes, these low strappy “heels” we honestly wear every day to work. They provide the perfect amount of height and are so secure – you can wear them literally all day with no complaints!
