Pretty Pastels

Hey everyone! We are back with another outfit post for you guys! These outfits are the perfect way to welcome the spring season, light and bright pastels are what we’ve been gravitating to recently. They are the perfect parallel to the neon trend (which we are also still loving!). As most of you may already know, we spend practically every holiday together, so it works out perfect when it comes time to shoot our looks for the blog lol. These were our Easter looks, the light colours, plaid, and texture just screamed out spring/Easter to us. The great thing is these pieces can all be worn separately so many different ways and can be worn throughout the summer as well! Just as we always say – comfort is key (especially with all the eating we did lol) and these looks passed the test, they are SO comfortable and versatile with dressing them up or down. We’re positive you’ll be seeing these pieces styled on here again. We wanted to show you two different simple yet pretty put together looks, one with a skirt and the other with pants. Tweed is the perfect texture when transitioning from seasons because it allows you to dress lighter with bare legs but still weather appropriate with it being a slightly thicker and heavier material. The amazing thing about this is it is actually a skort (we love those lol!) and simply pulling one of the colours from the plaid and pairing a solid top. This yellow top is so simple yet cute with its small bow detail and ruched sleeves gives it a little baby doll vibe. These thicker linen pants are perfection for this time of year and onto summer. They are an elevated version of our lived-in paper bag/ jogger pants. These can be worn so many different ways both dressed up or down and even to work which is awesome! With us venturing into the professional world very soon – we’ve been on the hunt for pieces that we would want to wear both personally and professionally. These pants are those! This top is so pretty because it’s a basic cami but the texture and thickness are perfect to pair with dress pants and blazers but also a great piece to wear in the summer with a pair of denim shorts. Periwinkle is still a favourite colour for us and will be worn a lot in the next couple months. This textured longer duster should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe, it’s something you don’t realize how much wear you will truly get from it until you own it. You can literally throw it on top of anything and it instantly makes your looks 10 times more put together. We hope you guys enjoyed our first spring look of the season!
