Mad for Plaid

Hey everyone!! We are back with another outfit post for you guys! Plaid is something we’ve always loved and couldn’t be happier to see it everywhere again this fall season. We think it’s because in high school, uniforms were required so we wore plaid literally four years straight and we just cannot seem to stray away from it. We’re showing you how to style plaid for a more everyday wearable look. Plaid dress pants are such a staple for us, they are perfect for both dressing them up or down (especially if you are currently in school – for presentations or in the workforce). Pairing plaid dress pants with a more casual jumper creates such a nice street style vibe – very effortless yet put together. You can pull out any colour that runs through the plaid to pair with it. Camel is one of our favourite colours so obviously that was the colour paired with the pants. These pieces are such must haves for the season, you can mix and match them with literally anything you probably already have in your closet to create new and fresh looks for fall. When transitioning into fall weather, it might still be too warm for full on fall layers. Wearing a fall dress is the perfect solution to this – especially pulling from fall colours and prints. Pairing this plaid dress with a turtleneck totally transitions the look and is more appropriate for the time of year. Same goes with the dress, you can pair any colour running through it, for either a sweater worn under or a cardigan overtop. Adding necklaces and accessories are just a given for us now, our looks just feel incomplete without them. You guys know this look wouldn’t be complete without our beloved loafers, they are back in action. If there’s one thing we can say about these shoes, its – buy them!!!
