Layering

Hey everyone! We have another outfit post for you guys! We both really vibed with these looks because they look so cute and put together but in reality, were super basic and not to mention comfortable. Layering is KEY right now if you’re choosing to opt out of a big winter coat and go for a teddy coat instead. Over the last few months you know our obsession with teddy coats has just increased – all shapes, sizes, and colours… we want them ALL! This is another addition to the closet – we’d like to own an array of colours and textures of lol. You should not be reluctant to wear a pop of colour like red – at this point it’s basically a neutral, right?! Coordination is key for us, matching the red from the tommy sweater with the coat completely pulls everything together. Starting with literally a white canvas adding these two pieces creates such a cute look. This jumper is so comfortable – something we love is layering thin turtlenecks with jumpers -they feel so varsity like as well as dresses up an otherwise casual sweater. The next look is layering over top rather than under. This is such a classic teddy bear colour. Earth tones will forever be our favourite colour pallet. The cream turtleneck pairs so beautifully with this wool camel scarf and brown textured jacket. This look has many different textures to it – another thing we live for! Pairing a black hat ties everything together with the darker denim and shoes. We love when the pompoms on hats still match a neutral look even though that hat might not be. These accessories are seriously so warm – we also love pairing our favourite mittens with them (we own them in a few colours). We hope you guys liked these looks as much as we did!
