Feminine Denim

Hey everyone! We’re happy to be back with another outfit post for you all! We now truly appreciate the weekends and try and spend every second doing something fun lol. It was so nice out – we finally saw some sun and warmer temps so that naturally meant we needed to go on a joy ride and treat ourselves to some ice-cream. There was the cutest little town we walked around with the sweetest ice cream shop. These are a variation of our go too looks that we wear when we want to look cute but still be comfortable not look like we’re not trying too hard. The first look is centered around these supper baggy mom jeans that look like they were literally taken out of your moms’ closet in 1990. They’re a little out there and might not be everyone’s cup of tea but right now there are so many different types of denim out there like this (maybe a little less baggy). The colour of the denim also really adds to the look. Because these pants are high waisted, they pair perfectly with crop tops. We are obsessed with colour this season whether it be neon’s or more muted tones. This is an evaluated version of our favourite smocked tube tops from last summer. Something as simple as the straight across neckline and puffed sleeves add a lot to the look. If you’re new around here, then it’s no surprise necklaces mean so much to us and have become a staple in our day to day looks. These slides are perfection!!! They’re this woven tweed inspired slide that you always see on insta and Pinterest yet never know where to find them. The next look is styled with a classic light denim straight leg jean. Over the last few years this style of denim has become our go to denim – they just instantly make any top that much cuter. Feminine girly tops are something we love and gravitate to towards the warmer months. Smaller floral print is something we are both loving right now because it allows you to wear printed tops without being so loud and in your face. The shape of this blouse adds to the outfit on its own and would even look so adorable in a solid colour. The ruching down the centre and detailed trim and sleeves creates the prettiest little silhouette that is extremely flattering. This look is paired with these super low-heeled sandals – they are something you purchase but don’t realize how much you will actually use and wear them! They are the smallest little heel, but you feel like your look is a touch more elevated than flats. These shoes are perfect for work – you can literally wear them all day!
