Cool Girl Fall

Hey everyone! We are here with our first official fall look. Man, it feels so good to say that, we feel like we are home lol! So, have you all heard about that Christian girl fall troll going around twitter and Instagram? It’s so funny because we actually do follow and love those bloggers in the meme. We thought we’d expand of that and rather than “hot girl summer” we want to share our “cool girl fall” looks with you all. These looks are playing with super basic pieces but paring them together to create a cool and effortless streetstyle vibe to them. Even if you are intimidated by street style then these are the perfect looks for you to achieve the vibes. Sometimes street wear is a little out there, so these are a muted wearable version of what you’d typical see scrolling through your popular page. You could also most likely recreate these looks with pieces you already have in your closet. This is the first time of the season (and certainly not the last time) you are going to hear us talking about how much we love to layer. The base of this look is built off this midi satin slip dress. You can find them almost anywhere and with so many different colours and price points. It’s such a versatile piece that can be worn dresses up (it has been worn to a wedding) or dress down like this look. Playing off the earth tone green, it’s layered with a maroon ribbed turtleneck. The ribbed material adds some dimension and texture to the look. Because of the layering and shape of the dress, adding a belt adds some sort of shape and waist so you are not completely drowning under the look – although not necessary some day we love hiding under loose clothes. Stacking a ton of gold necklaces and of course our beloved slides are back to tie everything together adding gold and black accents. This cool tone grey plaid skirt is so versatile and can be worn so many different ways. Using the skirt as the focal point and building around that, pairing it with a sleeveless turtleneck which is a great staple to have during the fall and great for layering when it’s still pretty warm out. In the time of super baggy oversized outerwear, we still love our slimmer cropped fit jackets. This leather jacket is the perfect fit because you’re not hiding behind a jacket nor is it hiding your look. To achieve the street style look pairing it with classic adidas super stars helps dress it down. Also, this new mini purse has been added to the collection.
