Hey everyone! We are so excited to share these looks today! A couple weeks ago at school, we had a presentation where business attire was mandatory. This actually made us so excited to put looks together – especially with entering the workforce soon we’re always talking about ways to dress for the office while still staying true to ourselves, our personal style, and looking youthful! Gone are the days of dated fitted pant suits lol. Mixing and matching textures, colours, and prints are a must for us. With doing that you still look on trend and cool while still looking professional. The goal is to purchase clothes that you could see yourself wearing both during and after work hours. All these pieces are so versatile and can be more so many different ways. We recommend investing in a good blazer – its honestly worth all the money!! They’ve been on trend for so long now and are not going anywhere. We already have so many different ways we want to style them – so you will be seeing these blazers a lot in future posts! Another thing we like is not being too matchy-matchy so pulling different colours that do not run through the blazer is very acceptable and adds dimension. We wanted to keep these looks as light and as springy as possible since most work attire tends to be darker in general – we’ve been so happy to see a shift in that with all the pastels offered and spring plaids! Paring a cotton turtleneck or top changes the vibe from your basic blouse – we opted for lighter colours, lilac and cream are currents favourites for us right now. For dress pants, these are also something we suggest investing in, especially for your staple colours like black and navy. But there are some extremely affordable dress pants out there if you’re looking for a fun colour or print! Then to tie the looks together we wore our low strappy chunky block heels. These are so comfortable (we could and have worn them for hours) and they provide you with the perfect amount of height.
