Applefest

Hey everyone! We are so excited for today’s post! This past week was our fall reading week at school – we spent the time both relaxing and (trying) to get some work done lol. It doesn’t matter how many days we have off, they always seem to just fly by. To end off our week we went to an apple festival near our house, it’s something we do every year and thought it was special because it was one of our first outfit blog posts on here. We are still shocked its almost been a year since we started our blog! We wanted to share our looks with you guys. We love mixing tones and matching pieces together to create effortless yet cute looks. The teddy bear jacket has been an absolute staple for us!!! We both cannot take it off (literally – we both wore them every day to school for a week straight lol). Mixing the camel tone with a grey turtleneck adds some dimension to the look with different colour tones. Wearing black jeans ties the whole look together with all neutrals. Something else we also love are the different textures – the knit with the Sherpa material is literally a match made in heaven, you feel like you’re in a walking blanket!!! We also love wearing longer cardigans in replace of jackets and layer underneath to provide warmth. Mixing this grey cardigan with a warmer toned green and purple blouse also adds texture. Wearing button ups are the perfect way to swap out a basic t-shirt and look that much more put together. Black booties are just an essential with looks like these. We hope you guys liked this post!
